An Alphabet Coloring Journey to Promote Early Literacy Skills
Created and illustrated by Alexa of Alexa Martin Designs; a mother of two, artist, reading specialist, and former elementary teacher.
As her two-year-old daughter Peyton began to recognize and recall letters, Alexa got the idea to illustrate a coloring page with the letter P for her name, surrounded by illustrations of things that began with that letter and accompanying print. As a reading specialist, she knows how important early exposure to literacy skills is, long before children enter Kindergarten. Soon enough, Alexa had other moms reaching out about doing other letters for their little ones, which gave her the idea to turn it into a whole coloring book.
A to Z Adventures is a coloring book that takes your child through every letter of the alphabet. Each page features playful illustrations of words that begin with the letter on each page, as well as accompanying print to promote exposure of early literacy skills.

It’s honestly good for kids of all ages! It is a grow-with-me concept which just means it can be used for many different things aside from just coloring. For your really young littles (1-4 years) it is great for early introduction to literacy skills. For school-aged kids it is great reinforcement of language skills they’ll be learning in school. If nothing else, it’s full of playful illustrations that are fun to color in!
