This Sunday is Super Bowl Sunday so of course, our #FridayFreeDraw for the week is football-related! This week, have fun drawing helmets for any team of your choosing! We will draw the outlines together and I will guide you through the logos of the two teams actually participating in the Super Bowl (Chiefs and Buccaneers) but feel free to add any team logos you'd like! For example, I am a huge Giants fan so ideally, they'd be in my Super Bowl but they're sadly not good enough to make it there on their own....
Without further ado, here is episode 2: Super Bowl LIV!
Step 1: Sketch your guidelines.
Step 2: Draw the outline of the helmet.
Step 3: Add helmet details.
Step 4: Add grates to the front of the helmets.
Step 5: Erase the guidelines and overlapping lines on the grates.
Step 6: Sketch team logos. Make these rough! Doesn't have to be every last detail.
Step 7: Draw your team logos. Make sure you draw them on an angle, just like the helmets are. Helpful hint: tilt your paper in either direction so you still need to draw it straight but it comes out on a nice angle on the paper.
Step 8: Erase the guidelines.
Step 9: Add a background. I went with a goal post, field, and stadium seating but do it up however you'd like!
Step 10: Add some color!
